EF4's first tourney (revived!) =-=UPDATE=-=, Cheers.

And here's EF4's first competitive tournament. Just one small step to prepairing us for clan wars and what not also. And now...

Updates

• Tourney registration extended until next Friday (the 14th).
• This tounrnament may be used for the Brwal ranking ladder. Get in now or strat from the bottom!

Rules (cause where would organized events be w/o 'em?):

• 3 stock
• 8 time
• Items aare set to "none" and "off"
• Best 2 of 3 matches
• Finals will be best 3 of 5 matches
• Double Elimination Bracket setting
• Suicide moves will count for a loss to the user on the last stock of a match unless it's Bowser (see below)
• Quitting/exiting a match at any point in time will count for a forfit for one match. There will be no excuess for such.
• No modded Wii's. This will cause dysncing which will cause problems.

Note on suicides: all suicide moves (listed in code), except for
Bowser's, that kill both players on their last lives will be considered a
loss for the user. Reason being is that the person getting grabbed by
Bowser has control over where they fall.

All rules are a modified version of the SBR Offical 2.0 Recommended Rule List.

Well, here it is. Signups end Friday the 14th of August. This
date may be extended if there're aren't enough entrants but will only
be extended once. This also gives me a day to set up brakets.
Brakets will be released to the public and the tourney will start
Monday the 10st of August. If you could join when you know you'll
be free, that'd be just grand. Please leave your Brawling tag and FC in
a post below.

does accidently getting d/ced count as a forfeit?
for example, if my mom turns off the comp, i get d/ced, if she unplugs the internet cable or usb, I get d/ced, or if my comp goes on standby, or freezes, I get d/ced, and its not my fault.
These are accidental. Would they count?

Hrm... your matches are going to be trouble I can already tell something's going to go wrong. I can't alter the rules for one person but I can change the rules for everyone. If I were you, know who and where to pick then go tap your computer and make it stays on until the end of that match. I've changed rule 8 to comply with this the best I can.

Heheh...actually...EF4 has been acting a lot like ooold EF4, which actually did complete tournies and clan wars. I have faith in this one. And no hax? Great. My Yoshi automatically comes with it. Everyone knows that. Guess I'll have to stick to Ganon and CF...
