Just a quick life update

Everything's been good. Everything has also been pretty good. School is lame, I have Chemistry, AP US Literature, Precalculus, Honors Latin II, Healthcare, and US History. Doing ok, but since this is Junior year.... Ugh. Anyway, I've been ignoring my Wii pretty much, except for Punch-Out!!. I might get Metroid Prime Trilogy, because, you know me, I'm Metroidouche. I might get Other M, but it looks so not Metroid it hurts. I've been playing my 360 a lot. I recently got Mass Effect, Fallout 3, Wolfenstien, Marvel Vs Capcom 2, and Batman: AA. All great.

Mass Effect is massive. A lot of interaction, an interesting story. Overall good. Fallout 3 is addicting, very addicting. The game keeps making me go back to it, I'll probably be playing it for a while. Wolfenstien is a MUST for any shooter fan. It's fun, ingenious, and interesting. Marvel Vs Capcom 2 is awesome. So much to try, and stuff. The fighting is solid, even if some of the mechanics are broken. If anyone wants to try beating me, send a friend's request to me. Batman is incredible. Short, a bit easy, and almost all the bosses suck, but it's a great game, a must for Batman fans(No, not The Dark Knight-Batman fans. ). So yeah.

Cool. I'd play you if I had a Wii or 360. And ouch at those classes. Honors classes are hard enough.

Is Wolfenstein a turn based shooter?

You sir must not be a metroidouche if you say Other M doesn't look Metroid like... Other than that, cool. Nice to hear you're still alive. ^_^

I'm sorry I hadn't realized Metroid was defined by FF-looking characters and cutscenes, wrestling moves, and free for all fighting.

Wolfenstein a regular shooter with some RPG elements. Like upgrades, hidden collectibles, a story...

There might be sidequests but I haven't seen any.

Onoes, theres cut-scenes in a metroid game. This clearly makes the entire game bad! There was always "free for all" fighting in metroid games, but Ima complain about that too! Oh, and creatures can come out to the sides of me? Ah, this is not 2-D or 3-D! It's a mix, something NEW and EXCITING, but its automatically bad because its not what I'm used toooooooo....


Jeez. It's like The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker all over again Are these wrestling moves you refer to where Samus shoots the creature in the mouth? Does anyone remember Link ever rolling around someone, then doing an upward spiral and hurting an enemy before Wind Waker? No? Not any action commands at all before Wind Waker? AND people liked them in it? Sounds very similar to this situation...

There's a difference between cutscenes and straight rips from FF. I'm not saying it's a bad thing, I'm saying they shouldn't be in a Metroid game.

I may have worded free-for-all fighting wrong, but again, not a complaint, just not something in a Metroid game.

Don't tell me you didn't see Samus punch and kick EVERYTHING? And throw things. And slam things.

Does anyone remember Link ever rolling around someone, then doing an upward spiral and hurting an enemy before Wind Waker?
There's a difference from taking a resourceful swordfighter and throwing in some new techniques that make sense in a transition(or later added in a later game from said transition), than taking a resourceful bounty hunter and turning her into a wrestler with a arm cannon.

My life update:

Pretty much sucks. Summer is gone and didn't get to do a whole lot of shit... Now I'm a Senior in HS and now I also go to college. I take Precalc and English at the college. Precalc is a joke (so easy), English i hate. At the HS I have Government (wish I could take honors... but can't because of college... ) Physics is alright, and psych/soc which is fun, but I have no close friends in there, mostly juniors... oh and studying for the stupid ACT!

Cross Country sucks this year....

What time I do have, I've been playing my 360, don't even play my Wii I only played Conduit the first week, never did beat the campaign. Anyways on the 360 I've been playing Mass Effect (meh) Oblivion (alright), Portal (fun and challenging).

Oblivion is fun but I do get bored with it. It's amazing how many damn side quests there are in one game O.o

Story mode or w/e wasn't but the advanced and least portals and time and shit are fucking hard as tits in -30 degrees F

but yeah, school is in the way. gots weightlifting (ez), psychology (ez), physics honors (not bad), probability and statictics (ez), pre-cal (EZ), economics (ez) and english (ZOMG W0W EZ). just started football season bout a few weeks ago, but I can not wait for wrestling season to start (rolling around with guys ftw lol j/k). and the best part, SENIOR BABY!!!! btw taking flying lessons since I am wanting to become a pilot too. all in all, tis a not bad year!
