I had played all the games before getting it, but I'm satisfied with what I got for my money. If you have already played the games and liked them/want to play them again, I would get it. If I were a diehard Metroid fan, I would get it. If you want to play with Wii controls...I might get it. If you have 50 bucks to blow off, and consider getting it, get it unless there are other games you might want. If you like shiny things, get it.
